While we depend on CBS to bring us “March Madness” they often fail us. A clear example is the awful 2-hr disaster that was the selection program on Sunday evening. It wasn’t bad enough that they chose talking heads who were uninformed, terribly prejudiced and with the possible exception of “the Charles” simply just boring. Of course the topper came when twitter posted the entire schedule after the #1 seeds were revealed. Talk about “egg on your face!” The only one who could have done a worse job is arguably ESPN. Enough for now, more later.

Fortunately I did not watch the Bracket reveal show. Two hours for a show that really should take 15 minutes seems to be a crazy choice to make. Many others agree

The ratings for the show were the lowest in 20 years. This 2 hour greed fest will probably not happen again next year. The bracket leak probably hurt the ratings as well. For me it just seemed better to avoid it. Do something interesting and then check the bracket after the show was done.
