With the sub par effort last week.  I am sure that I will pick better this week.  There are only three match ups of ranked teams this week.

(19) Miss. St at (12) Alabama – Mississippi State is doing well this year.  Playing much better than they have in a long time.  I wish that I could pick them to beat Alabama but the truth is that Alabama is in a bad mood after losing to LSU last week and taking themselves out of the national championship picture.  As much as I always wish I could pick against Alabama they will win a close one at home.  Alabama 27 Miss. (24) Kansas St at (17) Missouri – With Missouri on a two game losing stread after starting out the season 7 – 0 they need something big to happen to get going again.  Kansas State is having a pretty good season as well.  This should be an interesting game.  With the game being at Missouri I am going to go with the home team.  Missouri 35 Kansas St 24

(23) South Carolina at (22) Florida  – South Carolina has never won in Gainesville (0 – 12).  Really that is a little bit of a suprise. Well not really but you would think that they would win one at some point.  Today may be the day for them to get their first win in the Swamp.  this is a huge game for both teams.  Which ever team wins this on will be the SEC East champion and play in the SEC championship game.  Florida is having a down year for them so if ever there is a time to get that elusive win it is now.  Unfortunately I don’t think that the Gamecocks will pull it off.  Florida 24 South Carolina 21
