College Football Picks Ranked Teams 11-12-2011

Amazingly we had a very good week last week.  Really who would have thought that Alabama would miss 4 field goals in this years game of the Century.  We had LSU winning in a close one.  It was close and a lot lower scoring than I had thought it was going to be.  Either both of the Defenses are really amazing or both Offenses are really bad.  Final score in OT LSU 9 Alabama 6.  Picks 1-0 for the week

In the second game once again the pick was right but we did not give the Offenses enough credit.  Or gave the Defenses too much credit.  Final score Oklahoma State 52 Kansas St 45.  Picks 2-0 for the week.

In the third pick we got almost everything right for a change.   We were withing two points of having the score right on.  I guess you could say that these two teams are what we thought they were.  Final Score Arkansas 44 South Carolina 28.  Picks for the week 3 – 0.

With the perfect week that takes the picks to 22-6 for the year.  We are still clipping along pretty well.  I really feel that this week will be our downfall.  There are a lot of unknowns in this weeks picks.

There are 4 games this week but we will only be picking 3 of them since one of the games was played on Thursday and I did not have a chance to make the picks till today.   In the Thursday game (10) Virginia Tech beat (21) Georgia Tech 36 – 26

In the first game we are picking this week (7) Oregon at (4) Stanford – This game is going to be an Offensive score fest.   Both teams have an amazing offense.  The Stanford Defense is just a little better.   Final score Stanford 49 Oregon 35

The Second game is (19) Nebraska at (12) Penn St – with all that has gone on at Penn State this week I don’t see how they can be focused completely on the game.  As much as they would like to go out and win one for their fallen coach I just don’t see them being able to do it.  Nebraska is going to have a lot on their mind as well but will be able to be more focused and want to get this game over with and head home.  Final score Nebraska 28 Penn St. 17

In the Third and final game this week (20) Auburn at (15) Georgia – Auburn is looking for some respectability for this year and Georgia is looking to keep its great run going this year.  This is where it is going to end for Georgia.  Auburn will stuff the run and show some strength on Offense in this game.  Final score Auburn 24  Georgia 13
